Strategic Plan
Strategic planning determines what an organization wants to be at a point in the future and how it will get there. An effective strategic planning process results in stakeholders focusing on priorities that will meet the mission of a quality educational program for all students.
This strategic plan is a living document. It will serve as a ‘road map’ to future planning, resource allocation, staff development, and decision-making over the next several years.

The Engineering Society of Detroit’s Boys in Engineering Academy (BEA) program is a transformative space that empowers primarily boys of color, historically marginalized in STEM fields, to live their best lives. BEA is unique as it focuses on the whole person by integrating STEM learning with a student-centered, hands-on, and project-based approach. BEA scholars are provided access to powerful STEM learning experiences that challenge them to think deeply and critically. As STEM learners, they are empowered to use STEM as a tool for personal and social change.
